David Gold is confident Birmingham will sign striker Walter Pandiani on a permanent basis in the summer.

Chairman Gold believes Blues will win the race to land the on-loan Deportivo La Coruna striker even though Middlesbrough and Newcastle are understood to be interested in the 28-year-old.
