Giggs set to miss out on semi-final

Alex Ferguson has virtually ruled out any chance of Ryan Giggs being fit for next Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final with Newcastle.

The Welsh winger limped out of last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Blackburn after pulling a hamstring inside the opening five minutes and at the time Ferguson suggested his chances of making the Millennium Stadium encounter were remote.
