Changes on way for Addicks

Charlton boss Alan Curbishley is threatening to make changes for the Premiership clash against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Saturday.

Centre-back Talal El Karkouri serves the second game of his three-match suspension but Charlton otherwise have an unchanged squad after midfielder Radostin Kishishev recovered from a hamstring problem.

The Addicks have one victory in their last seven Barclays Premiership games, and Curbishley could switch back to 4-4-2 to try to get a result.

That could see striker Francis Jeffers, who came on as a second-half substitute against Manchester City last Saturday, recalled with Jonatan Johansson likely to make way. Jonathan Fortune could hold on to his starting place after replacing Mark Fish at half-time last week.

Provisional Squad: Kiely, Young, Hreidarsson, Perry, Fortune, Fish, Holland, Konchesky, Murphy, Rommedahl, Thomas, Bartlett, Andersen, Euell, Johansson, Jeffers, Kishishev, Hughes, Lisbie.
