Disgraced midfielder Lee Bowyer has pleaded with Newcastle fans to forgive him for fighting team-mate Kieron Dyer last weekend.

Disgraced midfielder Lee Bowyer has pleaded with Newcastle fans to forgive him for fighting team-mate Kieron Dyer last weekend.

The 28-year-old escaped getting sacked for brawling during the 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa, but was fined six weeks’ wages and still has to answer charges from the Football Association.
