Northern Ireland: Hughes hits back over snub jibes

Michael Hughes has denied that he snubbed a late call-up to play for Northern Ireland in Poland tomorrow.

Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez turned to the Crystal Palace midfielder, 33, after Birmingham’s Damien Johnson was suspended for picking up a yellow card in the 4-0 defeat to England on Saturday.
