Shels draw in Setanta Cup

Portadown midfielder Wesley Boyle scored a brilliant late equaliser to cap this six-goal thriller.

Richie Baker put Shels in front, stooping to head home David Crawley free-kick on 39 minutes.

Baker then set up Jason Byrne to double Shels’ lead with a stunning goal a minute before half-time.

But Ports hit back on the resumption with Gary Hamilton pulling a goal back on 50 minutes and then levelling 10 minutes later. Baker scored his second of the night on 69 minutes, but Shels threw away their lead again as a poor clearance set up Boyle to score a stunning 84th-minute equaliser.
