Sheffield United midfielder Alan Quinn has been forced out of the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier in Israel on Saturday.

Sheffield United midfielder Alan Quinn has been forced out of the Republic of Ireland’s World Cup qualifier in Israel on Saturday.

The 25-year-old suffered an ankle injury after scoring in the Blades’ 2-1 win over Burnley on Saturday and has been withdrawn from Brian Kerr’s squad.
