Longford Town manager Alan Mathews remains convinced that his side can reach the Setanta Cup final despite last night’s 2-1 defeat by Glentoran.

Mathews believes that Town paid for their lack of match practice – last night’s match was their first competitive match in four months – while Glentoran are midway through their season though he believes his side will be up to speed the next time they meet.
