Hearts apologise for Mikoliunas ref rage

Hearts tonight made a grovelling apology to linesman Andy Davis and referee Hugh Dallas on behalf of winger Saulius Mikoliunas after the club’s night of shame.

The 20-year-old Lithuanian confronted Davis in a rage at his decision to award Rangers a stoppage-time penalty at Tynecastle last night, from which Fernando Ricksen stepped up to secure a 2-1 victory for Rangers.
