Fresh doubts have reportedly been raised about Ireland’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Israel in Tel Aviv following an explosion in the city last night.

Yesterday, the FAI met the Israeli Ambassador to discuss the security situation following a suicide bombing that killed five Israelis in Tel Aviv last Friday.

The association insisted afterwards that the match on March 26 would go ahead as planned, but reports this morning said this would be reassessed following last night’s blast.
