City keeper on way out
Manchester City goalkeeper Kevin Ellegaard is set to leave the club when his contract expires the end of the season.
The Danish shot-stopper has slipped to fourth in the pecking order behind David James and with both Nicky Weaver and Geert De Vlieger returning to fitness.
Joint head coach Derek Fazackerley told www.mcfc.co.uk: “Kevin’s contract expires in the summer and he has already had a chat with the manager (Kevin Keegan).
“The best thing for him at this moment is to try to play more regular football and to do that he is going to probably have to find another club.”
