Drogheda United boss Paul Doolin has handed trials to Argentinian pair Fernando Cobain and Juan Cobain, while the club are also chasing Irish underage star Steven Bradley.

Drogheda United boss Paul Doolin has handed trials to Argentinian pair Fernando Cobain and Juan Cobain.

The pair, who were previously on the books of Sheffield Wednesday, starred in Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Galway United and Drogheda manager Paul Doolin is running his eye over the pair with a view to permanent moves.

Also on Doolin’s shopping list is Ireland underage star Stephen Bradley. The Dubliner was released by Arsenal last summer and failed to make the grade with Dunfermline.

Despite interest from a number of clubs cross-channel, Doolin is hoping to persuade the 20-year-old that his future is at United Park.
