Harps' Healy hoping to sign McGavigan

Finn Harps manager Felix Healy is hoping to sign Republic of Ireland Under 19 midfielder Ryan McGavigan from Leicester City before the March 4 deadline.

Donegal native McGavigan is to be released by the English side at the end of the season and Healy is hoping a return home will appeal to him, especially with the promise of Premier Division football next season.

Healy sees McGavigan as the ideal replacement for the departed Tom Mohan who has joined Longford Town.
