Crystal Palace defender Gonzalo Sorondo has had his appeal against a red card rejected by the Football Association.

Crystal Palace defender Gonzalo Sorondo has had his appeal against a red card rejected by the Football Association.

Sorondo claimed wrongful dismissal after he was sent off during Palace’s 2-2 draw at West Brom on Tuesday for denying Geoff Horsfield a goal-scoring opportunity, but his appeal has been turned down by an FA disciplinary commission.
