New Norwich midfielder Graham Stuart is set to go straight into the squad to face his former club Everton tomorrow.

Gary Holt is also in contention for a start after another run-out for the reserves, and Youssef Safri is expected to return to the bench.

Simon Charlton also played for the second string after recovering from a broken toe, but is probably not going to be risked against Everton. Ryan Jarvis is the latest player to join the Canaries’ injury list, with the England Under-19 striker set to be out for around three weeks following keyhole surgery on his knee.

Mathias Svensson (knee), Thomas Helveg (calf), Ian Henderson (heel), David Bentley (knee) and reserve goalkeeper Darren Ward (knee) are all still out.

Team (from): Green, Edworthy, Fleming, Doherty, Drury, Jonson, Holt, Francis, Stuart, Huckerby, Ashton, McKenzie, McVeigh, Mulryne, Safri, Brennan, Charlton, Shackell, Crow, Gallacher.
