Boro injury woes pile up

Middlesbrough manager Steve McClaren continues to be plagued by injury problems ahead of his side’s FA Cup fourth-round clash at Manchester United tomorrow.

Ugo Ehiogu, Mark Viduka, Stuart Parnaby, Gaizka Mendieta, George Boateng, Chris Riggott and Malcolm Christie are all sidelined for the tie.

Michael Reiziger will play, despite a hairline fracture of a toe, although is likely to revert to right back after playing in the middle of defence in last week’s 4-4 draw at Norwich, with Colin Cooper due to earn a recall.
