Thompson and Varga to start for Celtic

Celtic boss Martin O’Neill brought back Alan Thompson and Stanislav Varga for the Bank of Scotland Premier League clash with Terry Butcher’s young Motherwell side at Parkhead.

The Bhoys were looking to go six points clear of Rangers and as expected Juninho and Stephen McManus were dropped to the bench after last week’s win at Aberdeen.
