Holt may return for Norwich
Norwich could welcome back Gary Holt into the squad for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash with Middlesbrough at Carrow Road.
The midfielder – out for seven weeks after he needed hospital treatment to drain fluid from his chest following a build-up of blood behind his lungs - played for the reserves against Chelsea in midweek and may make the bench.
Thomas Helveg (calf) and Youssef Safri (ankle) are still out, as is David Bentley (knee), Ian Henderson (heel), Simon Charlton (broken toe), Darren Ward (knee) and Mathias Svensson (knee).
Striker Leon McKenzie is likely to come into the starting XI alongside new signing Dean Ashton, with either of midfielders Phil Mulryne or Jim Brennan stepping down to accommodate the change in formation.
Team (from): Green, Edworthy, Fleming, Doherty, Drury, Huckerby, Francis, Brennan, Jonson, Ashton, McKenzie, Mulryne, Jarvis, Shackell, Crow, McVeigh, Holt, Gallacher.
