Barry Ferguson warned by FA

Blackburn midfielder Barry Ferguson has been “warned as to his future conduct” after a Football Association disciplinary commission hearing.

The Scottish international midfielder – who yesterday handed in a transfer request – was charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 for improper conduct.

The charge related to an incident involving Crystal Palace’s Fitz Hall during Blackburn’s Barclays Premiership match at Selhurst Park on December 11.
