Fenlon gets Irish Soccer Personality of the Year award

Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon has been named the Irish Soccer Personality of the Year for 2004.

And Shels' number one Steve Williams scooped the Goalkeeper of the Year title at the Irish Soccer Writers Awards at Cork's Rochestown Park Hotel.

Acting FAI Chief Executive John Delaney said at the awards that the Genesis Report would be fully implemented by the end of March this year.

He also said that the impasse with the Sports Council had been resolved and funding that had been withheld last year would soon be forthcoming.
