Van Persie plays down Bergkamp comparisons

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie insisted any comparisons with Dennis Bergkamp must wait as he can still only dream of emulating the example of his Dutch compatriot.

Van Persie did little to dispel links between himself and Bergkamp as he conjured an inspired back-flick winner to end Stoke’s FA Cup challenge at Highbury.
