Davies back for Bolton

Striker Kevin Davies is poised to return to the Bolton squad for tomorrow’s FA Cup third-round clash at Ipswich after missing Tuesday’s 2-1 victory at Birmingham with a hamstring injury.

Manager Sam Allardyce, however, is without defender Julio Cesar for up to another two weeks with a broken toe.

Allardyce has promised changes for the game at Portman Road in the wake of the hectic festive period, but will still field an experienced side.
