Baggies pair miss Preston trip

West Brom will be without central defender Darren Moore and midfielder Cosmin Contra for tomorrow’s FA Cup trip to Preston.

Moore has missed the last six games with a knee injury and the former Jamaican international has only returned to training this week.

Contra, on the bench for Monday night’s goalless draw against Newcastle United, has suffered a recurrence of his groin problem in training.

Argentinian international midfielder Matias Almeyda could finalise his free transfer move from Brescia before the game but will not figure at Deepdale.

Albion boss Bryan Robson is set to retain the side which started against Newcastle.
