Boa Morte in for Fulham
Luis Boa Morte was included in Fulham’s starting line-up as Chris Coleman’s men looked to halt a dismal run of six defeats from eight matches against Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premiership this afternoon.
The Portuguese forward spent the last month in the treatment room with foot and hamstring injuries and his creativity has been sorely missed by the Cottagers who have slipped into the relegation battle.
French midfielder Steed Malbranque earned a recall after starting the last two matches on the bench while club skipper Lee Clark featured among the substitutes after overcoming his injury problems.
Crystal Palace midfielder Vassilis Lakis passed a late fitness test and featured in the clash at Craven Cottage but Gonzalo Sorondo was not so fortunate and missed the match.
Fulham: Van der Sar, Volz, Knight, Rehman, Bocanegra, Malbranque, Pembridge, Diop, Boa Morte, Radzinski, Cole. Subs: Crossley, McBride, Clark, John, Rosenior.
Crystal Palace: Kiraly, Butterfield, Popovic, Hall, Granville, Routledge, Riihilahti, Soares, Lakis, Johnson, Hughes. Subs: Speroni, Torghelle, Leigertwood, Boyce, Andrews.
