Anelka back for City
Nicolas Anelka returned to the Manchester City side at the Reebok Stadium today.
The £13m(€19m) striker replaced Jon Macken and partnered Robbie Fowler in attack against Bolton.
That was the only change manager Kevin Keegan made to the team which lost at home to Tottenham last weekend.
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce reshuffled his pack as his side went in search of a first win in seven games.
Tal Ben Haim, Julio Cesar, Anthony Barness and Kevin Nolan all returned to the starting line-up.
Fernando Hierro and Ivan Campo had to settle for a place on the bench, while Nicky Hunt and Radhi Jaidi were sidelined through suspension and injury.
