UEFA Cup draw completed
Middlesbrough will become the third British side to play Graz AK in Europe this season after drawing the Austrians in the last 32 of the UEFA Cup.
Graz were beaten by Liverpool in the Champions League qualifiers in August but beat Rangers in the UEFA group stage to reach the knockout phase.
Britain’s other representative in the competition, Newcastle, were paired with Dutch side Heerenveen.
Both English sides were drawn away for the first leg of ties, to be played on February 16 or 17. The return matches will take place during the following week on February 24.
Other interesting ties see Basle play Lille, conquerors of Shelbourne; Parma face Stuttgart; Sporting Lisbon play Dutch giants Feyenoord while Ajax play Auxerre, who defeated Rangers 2-0 at Ibrox this week.
