Boateng major doubt for Boro

Middlesbrough midfielder George Boateng is a major doubt for tomorrow’s final UEFA Cup Group E clash with Partizan Belgrade at the Riverside Stadium.

The Dutchman damaged an ankle at Southampton on Saturday as the Teessiders fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point, and is unlikely to make the game.

French full-back Franck Queudrue, who has one match of his domestic ban still to serve, is available in Europe.

Ugo Ehiogu (calf), Chris Riggott (hamstring) and Stuart Parnaby (broken leg) are making good progress but they remain on the sidelines.
