Spurs deny Hoddle could return

Tottenham have on Sunday hit back at claims by former manager Glenn Hoddle that he could be ready to return if a consortium buys the club.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy made it clear there is no truth in recent speculation suggesting the club is for sale, that Birmingham’s David Sullivan may want to buy it or that Hoddle is part of a consortium to bid for the club.
