Celtic appoint new director

Celtic have today announced the appointment of a new non-executive director of the plc.

Brian McBride, managing director of T-Mobile UK Limited, will take up the role around January 5.

Celtic chairman Brian Quinn said: “We are extremely pleased that an individual of Brian’s calibre is joining Celtic.

“His wealth of industry experience and business knowledge will be a major asset to the company and further strengthens the expertise available to us at board level.

“All the directors join with me in welcoming Brian to Celtic Park.”
