Contra back in contention

West Brom midfielder Cosmin Contra is fit for a recall to the side for tomorrow’s clash with Charlton at The Hawthorns.

The Romania international, who is on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid, missed last weekend’s 3-2 defeat at Portsmouth with a groin strain. The 28-year-old has responded to treatment and is set to take over from Bernt Haas in midfield.

The Baggies are looking for their first win under Bryan Robson, and the new boss has a fully fit squad to select from.
