Magpies' Chopra extends loan to Barnsley

Newcastle striker Michael Chopra has extended his loan spell at Barnsley until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old arrived at Oakwell at the end of August and had twice extended his initial one-month loan.

Chopra has been in a rich vein of form for the Tykes, scoring four goals in the last month, and has found the back of the net five times in 18 games for Paul Hart’s men this term.
