Liedson treble lifts Sporting

Sporting Lisbon ended Dinamo Tbilisi’s interest in the UEFA Cup with a crushing 4-0 victory at the Boris Paichadze stadium in Georgia.

Liedson bagged a hat-trick for the Portuguese side, who look certain to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition while the unfortunate David Chichveishvili sealed a comfortable win for the visitors from Portugal with an 89th minute own-goal in Group D – Newcastle’s group.
