Upson ready to hear Birmingham offer

Matthew Upson has revealed he is willing to talk to Birmingham City about a new contract as he played down speculation linking in him with a move to Barcelona or Newcastle.

The England centre-back has a clause in his current deal, which has 18 months to run, which allows him to renegotiate the contract after he has played 60 Premiership games for the club.
