Bald Eagle Smith resigns from Pompey perch

Jim Smith has resigned as Portsmouth assistant manager, it was reported today.

It is believed Smith stepped down due to his deteriorating relationship with chairman Milan Mandaric, who earlier this month brought in Velinir Zajec as executive director to look at all aspects of the club.
