Beardsley returns to Toon in coaching role

Newcastle legend Peter Beardsley is to rejoin the club’s academy coaching staff.

The 43-year-old, who scored 119 goals in 324 games for his hometown club, becomes the latest appointment following former first team coach John Carver’s decision to accept the position of Academy director and Kenny Wharton’s return as coach.
