Leeds to wait on Icelandic star

Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell is set to recruit Iceland international Gylfi Einarsson – but he will have to wait until New Year’s Day before handing the player a debut.

After a successful trial with Leeds, Einarsson is to sign a pre-contract agreement next week, however UEFA regulations preclude him from officially signing until the re-opening of the transfer window in January.
