Setback for Kamara

Portsmouth striker Diomansy Kamara will be on the sidelines for at least four weeks after sustaining a knee injury.

The £2.2m (€3.1m) signing from Modena was forced to come off after half an hour of Saturday’s 2-0 win against Manchester United after being caught by midfielder Paul Scholes.

Kamara has been diagnosed with medial ligament damage which could rule him out for between a month and four weeks.

The Senegal international has been a big hit at Fratton Park, scoring three goals in nine appearances.
