Angel calls for cash for O'Leary

Juan Pablo Angel has become the latest Aston Villa player to urge for manager David O’Leary to be given the financial backing to strengthen his depleted squad in January.

The likes of on-song midfielder Lee Hendrie and Gareth Barry have already voiced the need for chairman Doug Ellis and the club’s board of directors to make funds available to O’Leary who has still to sign his new three-and-a-half-year contract.
