Viana inharmed after accident

Newcastle midfielder Hugo Viana, currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon, has escaped injury after his car was involved in a serious accident in Portugal.

The Portuguese international was involved in a three-car pile-up on Lisbon’s Vasco da Gama bridge as he made his way to training.
