Wolves sack Dave Jones
Wolves have parted company with manager Dave Jones after making a poor start to the season.
Wolves have made a dismal start to the season, with the club lying in 19th place in the Coca-Cola Championship.
A 1-0 defeat by relegation battlers Gillingham on Saturday proved the final straw and chairman Rick Hayward met with Jones this morning.
Wolves were relegated from the Premiership last season and were determined to bounce straight back.
But six defeats in 15 games painted a grim picture for the Black Country club, sitting only three places above the relegation zone.
