Three doubtful for Cork City
Cork City have three players doubtful through injury as they seek to notch up a seventh straight league win at Derry City tonight (7.45pm).
Wingers Liam Kearney and Billy Woods, as well as skipper Dan Murray, are all facing late fitness tests at the Brandywell.
Kearney has a knee problem and Woods a hamstring strain with Michael Nwankwo and Jamie Nolan standing by to take over the wide midfield positions.
While the Leesiders are the form side in the Premier division, Derry are not far behind, having gone unbeaten in five games including victories over league leaders Shelbourne, Bohemians and Drogheda United.
Manager Stephen Kenny will, however, be without left-back Sean Hargan, who continues to recover from a foot injury.
An away win for Cork tonight will narrow the gap to four points behind Shels heading into Friday evening’s top of the table clash with Pat Fenlon’s side at Tolka Park.
