Keegan charged after confronting ref

Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan charged by Football Association for “using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour” to referee Steve Dunn.

Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan has been charged with “using abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour” towards referee Steve Dunn following his team’s 4-3 defeat by Newcastle.

Keegan revealed he had personally told Dunn after the game at St James’ Park that the official “was not strong enough and made too many mistakes”.
