West Brom defender Paul Robinson is in contention for a return to the starting line-up for Saturday’s visit to Crystal Palace.

Robinson, who has missed four games with a knee injury, made his comeback as a substitute in the goalless draw with Norwich and also bolstered his fitness with 75 minutes for the reserves in midweek.

Megson will again be without midfielder Neil Clement and defender Darren Purse who are serving three and four-match bans respectively. Clement will be available for next weekend’s meeting with his former club Chelsea.

Albion’s £3million record signing Robert Earnshaw must wait to see if he will earn a recall to the starting line-up.

Provisional squad: Hoult, Haas, Moore, Gaardsoe, Albrechtsen, Gera, Johnson, Scimeca, Greening, Horsfield, Kanu, Earnshaw, Koumas, Robinson, Contra, Kuszczak.
