Kinnear blasts 'prat' Warnock's antics
Nottingham Forest manager Joe Kinnear has accused Sheffield United counterpart Neil Warnock of encouraging the referee to book his players.
Kinnear was in no mood for press interviews following Forestās 1-1 draw with the Blades at Bramall Lane but took time out to brand Warnock āa complete pratā.
Kinnear, without a Coca-Cola Championship away win so far this season, had seen Andy Liddell put the Blades in front before the hostsā Alan Quinn was sent off just before half-time.
David Johnson went on to bag an 85th minute equaliser for the visitors but then Andrew Impey was dismissed for a second booking late on as the game ended with an unseemly fracas in the United box.
After the final whistle, Kinnear said he felt Warnock had tried to unduly influence referee Graham Salisbury. Kinnear said: āHis behaviour was laughable, at times he acted like a complete prat.ā
