Tony Grant's injury-time equaliser stretched Bohs’ unbeaten league run to 14 games at the RSC and denied Waterford victory in their final match before Sunday’s Carlsberg FAI Cup Final decider against holders Longford.

Although they left it very late Bohs deserved a share of the spoils at the very least having dominated the second half.

But Daryl Murphy’s 16th minute goal – his 18th in all competitions this season – looked liked giving Alan Reynolds’ side the perfect send off before they head for Lansdowne Road.

Murphy volleyed home after he latched on to a cross from Alan Carey and Kevin Waters saw his deflected shot hit the inside of the post on 25 minutes before Grant’s back header from Gareth Farrelly’s throw saved Bohs’ bacon right at the death.
