Beckham still in danger of disciplinary action

David Beckham was today still in danger of facing disciplinary action for admitting he got booked on purpose – despite Sven-Goran Eriksson’s attempts to draw a line under the controversy.

Beckham was hoping that his public apology, made after criticism of his actions by FIFA president Sepp Blatter, would be enough to end the matter.
