As Arsenal formally agreed to call their new £357m (€517m), 60,000-capacity at Ashburton Grove – due to open in August 2006 – the Emirates Stadium in exchange for a near £8m (€11.5m)-a-year windfall from the Dubai-based company, Wenger said: “I’ve said many times I am committed to Arsenal and now it is just a question of days when an extension of my contract will be announced.”
