Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard admits he would welcome Michael Owen back to Anfield with open arms.

Gerrard has seen his friend and England colleague make what was expected to be a dream move to Real Madrid this summer, while Gerrard himself turned down a move to Chelsea a few weeks earlier.
