Beattie out for up to six weeks

James Beattie faces up to six weeks on the sidelines after breaking his toe in Southampton’s goalless draw against Manchester City on Saturday.

Beattie limped off after 18 minutes of the Barclays Premiership clash, and his absence will be a major blow for the struggling Saints.
