Waterford United will be boosted by the return of long-term injury absentees Vinny Sullivan and Wayne Fitzgerald for tonight’s FAI Cup quarter-final replay against Rockmount at Turner's Cross in Cork (7.30pm).

Both players are likely to start on the bench after having missed large chunks of the season battling fitness problems.

But Waterford player-manager Alan Reynolds will be without Pat Purcell, who damaged ankle ligaments in the dramatic 2-2 draw with the Munster Senior League side last weekend.

Purcell’s place in defence is likely to be taken by Ben Whelehan.
